Just open the “Registration” tab and follow the prompts. Our new registration partner is
Active Network. If you don’t already have an Active account, you will be asked to create
one at the end. Registration is online only.
Public registration is January 6 − 26, 2025. Your registration must be complete by 11:59
pm on that last day.
With a new registration partner, some things will be different from previous years, but
we commit to the same fun, safe, and well supported event you have come to expect.
Along with a new registration partner, Little Red has eliminated the lottery and moved
to a straightforward registration process. We continue to cap the number of riders at
3500. That’s about all that our volunteers and the Cache Valley infrastructure can
handle. And registration closes early when we hit that number. The main difference?
You’ll know immediately whether you are entered in the ride. No more waiting for the
lottery to close.
- Register to ride right away when public registration opens. OK, this one’s not
guaranteed, but the probability is very high.
- Join Bonneville Cycling Club. Get a 5% Little Red discount, guaranteed entry, and
all the other benefits of membership. (Must join before registering to ride and
use the invitation that BCC will send you.)
- Join Huntsman Heroes. Commit to raising the Heroes’ minimum donation, and
Little Red guarantees entry and waives the entry fee. (Must join before
registering to ride and use the invitation that BCC will send you.)
- Earn a safety token from Little Red’s Bicycle Safety Team and turn it in at the
BCC HQ Booth for guaranteed entry and a 5% discount in next year’s ride.
Not as a member of the general public. There are no exceptions to the published 3-week
registration window.
As a Huntsman Hero or BCC member, or if you earned a Safety Token the previous year,
you may register up to April 1. Riders sponsored at the Gold, Silver or Bronze level may
register up to the day before the event and pick up a generic bib at the BCC Registration
Booth at the Lewiston Fairgrounds on Friday.
Please don’t put this on a list to do later. Just click to donate to Huntsman Heroes. You can, if you want, donate on behalf of an individual Hero or Hero team. You can also donate to Huntsman Heroes as part of registering to ride.
Little Red does her best to give you your money’s worth. Included with your
registration:

accompanied on the ride at all times by a parent or guardian. Minors pay the same
registration fee as adults.
Little Red is a woman-only ride, and only registered women and girls may ride on the

volunteers under 12.

volunteers can also pick up their t-shirt and cap at their rest stop on Saturday.
Only if Little Red still has your size after all other volunteers have been accounted for.
Whether your job takes you to a rest stop or to the Lewiston Fairgrounds, we
recommend that you bring anything you want to make yourself more comfortable. For
example:

- Water bottle or hydration pack.
- If you have special dietary needs, including gluten free, you will need to supply
your own food.
- Keep an eye on your favorite weather app for the Cache Valley area and bring
clothing appropriate for the weather. The weather is generally nice, but it can
rain, and the mornings are often cool.
Your registration receipt will have the shift days, times and locations for the jobs you
volunteered for. All volunteers are welcome to stop by the BCC Volunteer Booth at the
Lewiston Fairgrounds for information and to pick up your free t-shirt, cap, and dinner
ticket.
Please contact Little Red, even if it’s kind of late.

by 10:00 am on Sunday. If you are the last one out on Sunday morning, please close the
gate behind you.
The nearest hotels and motels are in Logan, about 30-40 minutes from the Lewiston
Fairgrounds. Accommodations in Brigham City and Tremonton are farther. An online
search of the Cache Valley area will show you your options.
Yes, but to let us set up to serve you, please do not arrive before about 4:00 Friday
afternoon.
Your four-legged family members also are welcome in and behind the Village
Expo area, but not in the pavilion or dining tents. Pets must be on-leash and well-
behaved, and you must clean up after them.

registered volunteers. (Be sure to wear your complimentary shirt and hat.) Guests can

Rest stops are busy places designed to move riders through quickly. Please
ask family and friends to cheer for you at the Lewiston Fairground start/finish line.
No, but it sure can help.
RWGPS navigation gives you audible turn-by-turn instructions on your phone, lets you
know when you go off-course, and includes any other information the route planners
have included.
You first need to create a RWGPS Starter Account and download their mobile app to
your phone. Both are free. If you already have RWGPS, you’re already half-way there.
About a month before the event, we’ll email you an RSVP link that will sync all of the
Little Red routes with your RWGPS account so you can download and save them to your
phone. On the day of the ride, select the course you are riding and touch “Navigate.”
Little Red’s courses are all well-signed, so RWGPS is not required. But with a personal
navigator on your phone, you won’t worry about hooligans removing or changing the
signs. Please read more about it on Little Red’s Ride with GPS page, which includes a link for
getting a RWGPS account.
No. Little Red provides all of the support you will need. Because of all the bicycles and
support traffic, you are not allowed to have your own SAG support. Rest stops are busy
places designed to move riders through quickly. Please ask your family and friends to
cheer for you at the Lewiston Fairgrounds start/finish line.
To have a safe and enjoyable ride you should bring, at minimum:
- Hard shell or ANSI/SNEL approved helmet. You will not be permitted on the
course without a helmet.
- Two water bottles or a hydration pack.
- Spare tube and a pump or CO2. SAG support is never very far away, but it never
hurts to be prepared.
- A bicycle in good working order. There will be a bicycle mechanic at the Lewiston
Fairgrounds, but the line can be long. It never hurts to service your bike or ask
your local bike shop to give it a tune-up before you arrive.
- Keep an eye on your favorite weather app for the Cache Valley area and bring
clothing appropriate for the weather. The weather is generally nice, but it can
rain, and the mornings are often cool.
- Sunscreen and lip balm.
- Headphones that do not cover the ear canal are permitted.
- If you have special dietary needs, including gluten free, you will need to supply
your own food.
The start times for the several courses will be published shortly before the event. The
start times allow most riders plenty of time to finish their chosen distance. So please
take your time and enjoy your ride. However, to allow our rest stop crews and other
volunteers to wrap up their jobs:
- 100-mile and 70-mile riders will be diverted from the Benson rest stop to the
Newton rest stop at 11:00 am. (The 100-mile course becomes 70 miles, and the
70-mile course becomes 55 miles.)
- The north loop of the 100-mile course closes at 2:00 pm. Century riders must be
north of the intersection of Hwy 23 and Hwy 61 by 2:00 pm. At that time, all
riders will be directed back to the finish at the Lewiston Fairgrounds.
- All courses close at 6:00 pm. If you are still on the course at this time, you will be
picked up and sagged to the finish.
Take a break at our well-stocked rest stops with dedicated volunteers to serve you.
Resupply with water, electrolyte powder & gels, PB&J, fruit, nuts, crackers, nutrition
bars, candy, etc. Lunch includes the same plus sandwiches, chips and soda.
If you have special dietary needs, including gluten free, you will need to supply your own
food.
Little Red has the cleanest porta-potties on the circuit, and the lines are short. Soap and
foot-pump sinks as well.
Our local bike shop sponsors provide a bike mechanic at every stop, and the Bridgerland
Amateur Radio Club (BARC) coordinates radio communications to provide SAG and
first aid.
Rest stops are busy places designed to move riders through quickly. Please ask your
family and friends to cheer for you at the Lewiston Fairgrounds start/finish line.
Our local bike shop sponsors provide a bike mechanic at every rest stop, and Velofix
donates a mobile mechanic. The Bridgerland Amateur Radio Club (BARC) coordinates
about 25 SAG and medical vehicles patrolling the courses throughout the day.
Motorcycle and bicycle safety teams also patrol the courses. Help should never be too far
away, but we recommend that you carry a spare tube and a pump or CO2.
Because of all the bicycle and support traffic, you are NOT allowed to have your own
SAG support.
Absolutely. An e-bike is in Little Red’s future, but not quite yet. There are no charging
facilities at the rest stops, so manage your battery discharge.
Headphones that do not cover the ear canal, such as bone-conducting headphones, are
permitted for Ride with GPS cues. Headphones and ear buds that cover the ear canal are
prohibited. If you can’t hear what’s around you, you present a danger to yourself and
others.
You may have aero bars on your bike, but you are not allowed to ride in the aero
position. The aero position is dangerous in group riding, especially with less experienced
riders nearby.
